Hi, Iā€™m anasitasia.

The allure of understanding all human behaviour including my own led me to study psychology. I have practised within this field since 2016 and I continue to find it very fulfilling.

My experiences include working with young NDIS participants impacted by a neurodevelopmental disorder to

  • Improve their relationships;

  • Build confidence and develop social skills;

  • Increase independent living skills & support important transitions;

  • Develop emotional self-regulation to manage feelings such as anxiety and anger.

I have also supported people to manage co-occurring mental health concerns and alcohol and other drugs (AOD) use/misuse. Mental health concerns included:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Complex trauma

  • Grief

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Alcohol and other drug use

My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, AOD addictions, family domestic violence, suicide prevention, borderline personality disorders, narcissistic personality disorders and Youth Mental Health.

Incorporated into my role as a psychologist are the values of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Psychology, University of Western Sydney, 2015. (Australia) / Registration with The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
