The allure of understanding all human behaviour including my own led me to study psychology. I have practised within this field since 2016 and I continue to find it very fulfilling.
My experiences include working with young NDIS participants impacted by a neurodevelopmental disorder to
Improve their relationships;
Build confidence and develop social skills;
Increase independent living skills & support important transitions;
Develop emotional self-regulation to manage feelings such as anxiety and anger.
I have also supported people to manage co-occurring mental health concerns and alcohol and other drugs (AOD) use/misuse. Mental health concerns included:
My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, AOD addictions, family domestic violence, suicide prevention, borderline personality disorders, narcissistic personality disorders and Youth Mental Health.
Incorporated into my role as a psychologist are the values of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Psychology, University of Western Sydney, 2015. (Australia) / Registration with The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
